49 women present their profession during the Open Day of the Makoi Women’s Vocational Center

49 women have the opportunity to showcase their arts and crafts skills today at the Makoi Women’s Vocational Center Open Day before graduating on the 26th of this month.

The women completed a three-month program that allowed them to find work in different sectors and earn money for their families.

Acting manager of the center Arita Sarup says people can buy food, clothing, pillow cases, pillow cases, toilet paper holders and other products during the Open Day today.

Sarup says people can also come for medical checks, including blood pressure, sugar and BMI checks.

She hopes that many people will come to support the students during their first Open Day of this year, she says.

She adds that the money made today will go towards the upcoming batch and the purchase of ingredients and materials.

The Open Day ends this afternoon at 3 p.m.
