Bride gets fired right on wedding day, company prefers single employees?

Bride receives unexpected message from boss on her wedding day

BRIDE – A woman from Britain who identified herself as Amanda was fired on her wedding day.

In the lives of most women, their wedding day is one of the most important and memorable events. For women who are yet to get married, it is also one of the events they look forward to. However, in Amanda’s case it is different.

Amanda is a woman from Cyprus who shared her story on Ben Askin’s YouTube channel, The Ben Askins Show. In her letter she said that she was fired exactly on her wedding day.

Amanda is a resident of the United Kingdom. The wedding took place in Cyprus. According to the bride, she was unable to pick up her phone during the entire ceremony. Only at the reception did she get hold of it and read the unexpected message.

The bride expected to read congratulations on her wedding day. However, what shocked her was that she was blocked and removed from all the company’s WhatsApp groups. She then read the message to her employer.

According to Amanda, her boss started by expressing hope that the wedding went well and that she had a good time. Her employer then informed her that the decision has been made and that the company unfortunately has to let her go. The boss told her to refer to an email sent to her email address.

When she read the message sent to her email, Amanda was informed that she had been fired for not meeting the company’s expectations based on her position. The bride told Ben that there were no hints about it and that the company’s only complaint was the delay in replying to emails.

Amanda also emphasized that she is fine with management. She suspects that the company may want single employees and that the recently hired employee on their team could be her replacement all the time.

According to her, she is on probation and only her in their group remains to be regularized. She also said that when the company knew she was settling down, they also asked if she was planning to have a child, to which she replied yes.

The woman who was supposedly a very happy bride on her wedding day but was unexpectedly fired suspects the company may not want to pay benefits to married employees with dependents.

In her letter to Ben Askins, she admitted that she is angry about what happened. After being laid off from her job, instead of enjoying the transition to a new chapter of her life, she is busy finding a new job.
