Hyderabad man attacked with knives and sticks in full view of public dies

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old man died after he was attacked by a group of people near a busy main road in Asifnagar, Hyderabad on Thursday, June 13. The man who was rushed to hospital succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

The man was chased by a group of men with knives and other weapons. He was stabbed continuously in the chest, stomach and neck. It is suspected that the murder is a plotted act of revenge.

The attack was carried out in full view of the public and people even recorded the incident on their mobile phones.

After the attack, the man managed to reach his brother’s shop, where he collapsed in a pool of blood.

Identified as Mohammed Qutubuddin, a furniture polisher from Gangabowli, Hyderabad, the man was allegedly involved in a murder in 2023 and was arrested in the case. He was recently released on bail.

Police suspect that the family of the victim murdered in 2023 may have planned the murder out of revenge. A case was filed based on the complaint of Qutbuddin’s brother and the suspects have been identified as Syed Imran, Taher and Aman, relatives of the man allegedly killed by Qutbuddin.
