Ajmer: On Friday, Parliament Speaker Vasudev Devnani said blood donation is a unique example of medical services. “It is the best among the service works. We need to increase understanding and awareness about blood donation among the common people. Blood donation has saved the lives of millions of people,” he said. Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Friday honored blood donors, institutions and philanthropists on World Blood Donation Day at Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital.

In the program organized on this occasion, Devnani said that blood donation is a great donation. “All healthy adults over the age of 18 should donate blood regularly. It also saves people from many health problems. Doctors and people involved in the health community, NGOs, government departments and other institutions should come forward to spread awareness,” he said.
