Love Island fans are calling bosses cruel and begging them to replace Samantha after a shocking twist

LOVE Island fans have branded their latest shocking twist ‘cruel’ and begged producers to intervene.

Samantha Kelly’s blossoming romance with Joey Essex suffered its first major setback on Friday night with the arrival of three new stunners, including Joey’s ex.

As the gang met the new additions through a game, Samantha was left upset when Grace Jackson, who was having a “summer fling” with Joey, took the chance to share a kiss with the Towie star.

Samantha was left seething as she had to watch it happen.

This was made even more awkward when Joey then turned around and hugged Ronnie Vint, calling the game “the best night ever”.

She later spoke about her feelings at the Beach Hut, saying, “I feel like Joey was just waiting for someone to come in, and I feel like she’s coming in now.”

“So I just feel like…I’m on the back burner, you know what I mean?”

Samantha became teary at the thought of being dismissed so easily, with fans also criticizing Joey for his behaviour.

“Producers let Samantha go, y’all are going to kill her,” one fan wrote.

Another wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “The producers decided to destroy Samantha and completely ruin her hot girls summer #bringsamhome#LoveIsland”

“Does anyone else think the producers were cruel by bringing in Joey’s ex?” added a third. “They had their time and it ended for a reason. It just seems humiliating for Samantha. It’s also #loveisland, NOT #exonthebeach”

Joey and Grace originally dated in early 2024, but their six-week romance ended abruptly.

Grace told the others about their affair: Grace says: “So we met in Ibiza last year and it’s actually funny because he’s not my type at all. We had a bit of a holiday romance. It continued when we got back home.

“It was quite intense. We saw each other for a few months. It ended a bit frosty to be honest, and we haven’t spoken since.”
