Getty Images Adds a Disclaimer to Kate Middleton’s Latest Photo as Internet Users Worry About ‘Fake AI’

Kate Middleton marked a remarkable return to the public eye on Saturday by attending King Charles’ birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, with her family.

In this undated handout photo released by Kensington Palace, Catherine, Princess of Wales, stands under a tree in Windsor, England.

She was first seen in a car with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Later she appeared at a carriage window as part of the royal procession. Saturday’s performance was her first public event since Christmas and her cancer diagnosis.

Kate was spotted with her kids at the Glass State Coach and she is all set to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace later today.

Meanwhile, six-year-old Prince Louis, who rode in a carriage with Kate and his siblings, was pictured giving a little wave to the crowd as he and his family members moved closer to the Horse Guards Parade.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ glamorous appearance comes a day after Kate shared a health update, saying she will be attending the parade.

Kensington Palace on Friday released the first official photo of Kate since she made her cancer diagnosis public in March.

The photo of Kate, which was taken at home in Windsor, was shared by Kensington Palace’s official social media accounts.

The photo shows the Princess of Wales posing under a tree. According to Sky News, the photo was taken earlier this week. She can be seen dressed in trousers and a beige blazer with small white stripes. The photo was taken by Matt Porteous/Kensington Palace via Getty Images.

Kate gave an intimate update on her health in the photo’s signed caption. She said her chemotherapy treatment is going “well,” adding that she is starting to work from home, noting that “there are good days and bad days.”

“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months,” she stated. “On the days when I feel well enough, it is a pleasure to be involved in school life and to spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity.”

The Princess of Wales will attend Trooping the Color in London on Saturday and said she “hopes to take part in a few public events over the summer” while she continues cancer treatment “for a few more months.”

Since the 42-year-old disappeared from the public eye, concerns about her well-being have been rife on social media, which were exacerbated when Kensington Palace decided to release an altered family photo on Mother’s Day in Britain in March.

As well-known English broadcaster Piers Morgan claimed to have photographed Kate during a ‘shopping trip’, social media users dismissed the photo as being of the Princess of Wales, sparking rumors about her well-being.

Once again, some social media users pointed out how “unnatural it looks” to support their claim that the photo has been edited.

“It has been proven that this is a fake AI. It is said that she will be a hologram or her face will be completely invisible. So many problems with the photo. This is not a photo of someone undergoing chemotherapy. I have been in a clinic and hospital worked with chemo treatments. This is not a chemo patient,” wrote a user on X.

Another user shared a screenshot of 99 percent AI (artificial intelligence) detection in Kate’s latest photo.

“Isn’t it strange that #KateMiddleton hasn’t worn new clothes since 2023? #FOKolonelKate,” someone else responded.
