Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Amy Hunter has been named captain of Dragons Women, while Scorchers Women will be led by all-rounder Leah Paul. Rebecca Stokell will lead Typhoons Women in the upcoming 20-over tournament.

Scorchers Women are the defending champions of the 2024 Evoke Super 20 Trophy. Since the start of the tournament in 2015, Scorchers Women are also the most successful team with seven titles.
