Bus service in Koraput resumed after settlement of the dispute

Koraput, June 15: Bus service resumed in Koraput on Saturday following an amicable settlement between the bus owners and the employees’ association.

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Koraput district administration today resolved the crisis between the Private Bus Owners’ Association and the Bus Employees’ Association.

According to reports, private buses had gone off the roads on as many as 64 routes in Koraput due to a misunderstanding between the Private Bus Owners Association and the Employees Association. This almost jeopardized bus communication in the district.

On being informed about the public discomfort, the CM sought the intervention of the district administration in the matter after which the issue was resolved amicably and private buses started plying on their respective routes.
