Man stabbed near Clacton Pier as police search for witnesses

A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed multiple times in an Essex seaside town. There was a disturbance in Pier Gap, Clacton last month which left the victim with several stab wounds.

The incident happened on Saturday May 18 at 8.10pm near the Martello Lounge in Clacton. A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “Officers discovered a man had suffered several stab wounds following a disturbance and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.




“No arrests have been made at this stage and detectives from Clacton CID continue to investigate. If you have any information or footage relating to this incident, please contact us.”
