Seven were injured in three vehicle crashes involving a bus on I-16 near the Bulloch-Bryan Co. line

STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – Seven people were sent to the hospital Friday evening after a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Interstate 16.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a car rear-ended another vehicle, which then struck the bus at Exit 136 near the Bryan-Bulloch County line.

One student from the rear-ended vehicle had to be airlifted to Memorial Health due to serious injuries. All other injured victims were transported to a hospital in Savannah.

No fatalities have been reported at this time.

Further details are limited at this time. Nothing is yet known about the cause of the crash.
