STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) – A woman is dead and a man is injured after a single-vehicle crash in Bradford County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on State Road 100 near LM Gaines Boulevard in Starke early Saturday morning when it went off the road.

FHP says the truck then crossed the lanes back onto the road before hitting a tree.

The passenger of the truck died at the scene and the driver was taken to hospital with injuries.

FHP says the crash is currently under investigation.
