Three fire departments were dispatched today around 3:00 PM to a truck/RV on fire at the corner of M-221 and 6 Mile Road in front of the Bay Mart gas station.

Superior Township Volunteer, Bay Mills Volunteer and Dafter Township Volunteer Fire Department were all dispatched to the scene and remain on scene as of 3:50 p.m.

The power lines were reported to be faulty and sparking. Cloverland Electric also responded.

Officials say the fire was brought under control around 3:45 p.m., but crews are expected to remain on scene for a while to clean up.
