Fardeen Khan revealed that acting was not his initial career choice and that he felt unprepared in front of the camera when he signed his debut film Prem Aggan.

The actor admitted that acting wasn’t his best career choice; he was more interested in filmmaking. He humorously noted that the decision to become an actor may have been a mistake. His father had received several offers to launch him into the film industry, but they both prioritized completing his education.

Looking back on his college days, Fardeen Khan said he was unsure about his career path and acting was not his first choice. However, he expressed his gratitude for the way things turned out. After returning from the US, his father, Feroz Khan, was editing the film Prem Aggan, and Fardeen was cast as the lead without much preparation. He admitted that he was not ready for the role and should have spent more time preparing before acting.

Fardeen acknowledged his inexperience at the time, noting that his language skills were not strong and that he was quite raw in many ways. He felt that he should have spent more time preparing, practicing and gaining acting experience. Looking back on the past, he wishes he had had the opportunity to be better prepared.

The ‘No Entry’ actor left the film industry in 2010 after his role in ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’. He recently returned to acting in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’.
