John Mahama has commended Hudu Mogtari for his support of the 2024 NDC campaign

Mr John Mahama received the donation from Alhaji Hudu and presented it to the National Chairman of NDC, Asiedu Nketia.

John Dramani Mahama, the 2024 presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has commended Alhaji Hudu Mogtari, a former NDC parliamentary aspirant in the Wa Central constituency of the Upper West Region, for his support for the party .

In a recent show of commitment to the party’s 2024 campaign in the Upper West Region, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari donated a pick-up truck and several motorcycles to help the party.

He also donated an amount of 30,000 Ghana Cedis as starting money for the maintenance and refueling of the donated items.

He made the presentation ahead of a fundraising dinner organized by the Upper West Regional Executive Committee of the NDC.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and the host regional chairman Nasir Sani received the items on behalf of the party.

The flag-bearer of the National Democratic Congress praised Alhaji Hudu Mogtari for the intervention.

“Thank you very much to my brother-in-law for this beautiful donation. Upper West is one of the crucial regions for the NDC because it is fertilized by our tradition. We take the region very seriously and that is why we aim to win all eleven seats in the Upper West region,” said John Mahama.

The National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, also charged the regional leadership of the party to ensure that the positive impact of the donation on the campaign would be felt.

Speaking at the brief handover ceremony, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari said the gesture is the first of many contributions he plans to make to the party’s 2024 campaign.

“We donated these items to assist with the work of the NDC in the Upper West region. We know the 2024 election will be no easy task, and we need every boots on the ground to ensure we get by. We are selling the NDC’s message so that we can win all eleven parliamentary seats in the Upper West. Region.

He added that the “token of 25 motorcycles and a pickup truck is to help those who will be doing the work because people need to move and need these vehicles and that is why we donated.”

He further urged the party leadership to use the items effectively for their intended purpose: a strong campaign to win power in the December polls.

The Upper West Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nasir Sani, promised that the items will be put to good use.

The donation of a pickup truck and several motorcycles for the party’s campaign efforts is being described by many party supporters as a move that will come in handy in the upcoming elections.
