15,000 students will appear for the UPSC exam across 37 centers in Indore

The Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2024, organized by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), will begin on June 16 at 37 sub-centres in Indore. Joint Commissioner of Revenue Shaili Kanash confirmed that the exam will be held in two sessions: from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

A total of 15,225 candidates will appear in central Indore. To gain access to the examination hall, candidates must present their e-Admit Card (printout) and photo identity card for each session. It is critical that candidates keep their e-Admit Card safe during the exam.

Candidates are reminded that they are prohibited from carrying valuables, mobile phones, smart/digital watches, other IT gadgets, books, bags and similar items into the examination hall. The exam location supervisors do not provide storage space for these items. Entry is allowed only with the e-Admit card, pen, pencil, ID proof, self-photocopy and other documents specified in the e-Admit card instructions.

No additional items are allowed in the room. Entrance to the exam location closes 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each session. After this point no candidate will be admitted. Furthermore, candidates are only allowed to appear at the location mentioned on their e-Admit Card.
