A two-day training session on the theme “Establishing press services of government bodies and organizing their work” will be held in Ashgabat at the OSCE Center building.

As the IIC reports with regard to SalamNews, the seminar is organized in a hybrid format. The aim of the seminar is to improve the professional competence of press services of government bodies and other organizations, as well as to promote the development of the media sector in Turkmenistan.

The participants include representatives of state and private media, employees of press services of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as lecturers from universities involved in the training of journalists.

The seminar will be led by Lithuanian experts Zivile Navickaite-Babkin and Dainius Radzevicius, the source said.
