Atlantic City Police Arrest Two Suspects in Cell Phone Store Burglary

Atlantic City, New Jersey – Atlantic City police have arrested two men in connection with a burglary at a cell phone store on Atlantic Avenue.

On July 5, 2024 at 6:41 a.m., officers responded to Metro by T-Mobile in the 1400 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a burglary and theft. The suspects had entered the store while it was closed and stole numerous cell phones and other items.

During the investigation, Sergeant Darrin Lorady and Detectives Brian McKinney, Sandra Lino-Melo and Wahab Malik conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of North Carolina Avenue. The vehicle, a rideshare, had two occupants, Scott Sewell and Keith Faulkner, in the back. Both men were arrested after detectives found a bag containing cell phones and other T-Mobile merchandise.

Arrested:

  • Keith Faulkner51, from Atlantic City.
    • Cost: Burglary, theft, conspiracy, refusal to be fingerprinted and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
    • Faulkner was transferred to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
  • Scott Sewell56, from Atlantic City.
    • Cost: Burglary, theft and conspiracy.
    • Sewell was released on a summons with a future court date.

These charges are accusations and both suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Pennsylvania Game Commission Launches Shooting Range Improvement Program

    Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Game Commission has announced the launch of the Shooting Range Improvement Program, a new grant initiative aimed at improving shooting facilities across the state. The program is part of the agency’s broader mission, supported by federal excise tax dollars under the Pittman-Robertson Act.

    The grant program will fund a variety of projects to improve opportunities, access and safety at sports clubs throughout Pennsylvania. Eligible projects include the development and renovation of shooting facilities, construction of backstops and safety berms, installation of permanent target systems, creation of shooting stations and covers, and lead remediation.

  • Robbery in Frederica under investigation

    Frederica, THE – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Saturday night on Sycamore Drive in Frederica.

    The incident occurred on July 6, 2024 at approximately 10:45 p.m. when the victim was walking on Sycamore Drive when he was approached by an unknown black male suspect on a bicycle. The suspect demanded money from the victim and then stole the victim’s backpack. He then fled south on Sycamore Drive with the stolen items. The victim was not injured during the incident.

    The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing. There is no surveillance footage or footage of the suspect available at this time.

    Delaware State Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
