Elder Clyde Brown, Jr. was born on July 7, 1949, to Mary and Clyde Brown, Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Elder Brown accepted Christ at the young age of 9 under the leadership of Rev. H. Levi McClendon, III at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Lansing, Michigan.

Elder Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Brown, Sr. and Mary Louise Brown, one daughter Demetria Brown, two brothers Melvin and Stephen Bond and one sister Yvonne Marie Curtis.

Elder Brown leaves behind fond memories that will be cherished by his family and loved ones. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Joan Brown of 38 years; three sons, Seth Brown, Terrell (Cynthia) Brown of Fairview Height, Illinois; Earnest William, LaWanda Kaye Bond of Decatur, Illinois; one brother, Sherman Brown Decatur, Illinois; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
