It was a special celebration, as the Desi Girl noted in the post: “It was a work birthday this year. I’ve had so many over the years and I’ve found it’s one of my favorite ways to celebrate my birthday.”

The actor shared a few glimpses from her birthday bash on Instagram, reposting stories from Indian and Hollywood celebrities wishing her well. After thanking her husband Nick Jonas, mother Dr Madhu Chopra, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas and The Bluff team, the actor shared what she devoured on her special day.

You might be wondering what a dosa truck is doing on the set of The Bluff in Australia. Well, it was Desi Girl’s birthday and this truck was organized especially for her. Now, fans of the actor know that Priyanka Chopra not only loves to pair Indian pickles with everything, but she is also a huge dosa fan (well, who isn’t?).

Can you guess how many different types of dosas were available at Chopra’s birthday bash in Australia? The pic showed the global star feasting on at least five varieties of the popular South Indian delicacy – plain dosa, masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, onion dosa and cheese dosa. The entire crew enjoyed the savoury dish and needless to say, they all went into a food coma.

Does anyone ever need an excuse to indulge in waffles? The entire cast and crew went all out with waffles. Rising batter cooked between two hot plates and topped with sweet syrups, whipped cream, and fresh fruit is a delicious treat to enjoy for breakfast or as a snack.

The actor’s caption continued: “To everyone who took the time to find my production office address here in Australia and sent me tokens, I appreciate you so much. To my cast, crew and producers of The Bluff, thank you all for the laughter, the joy, the beautifully decorated trailers, bringing in all the flowers every few minutes (sorry ADs), the waffle truck, the hugs, the cards, the cakes, you are all the best and I wouldn’t want yesterday to be any different.”
