Deepak Hooda marries his long-time girlfriend, says: ‘We finally found each other’

After dating for almost a decade, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Deepak Hooda married his long-term girlfriend from Himachali on July 15, 2024. The news was shared by the cricketer on social media a few days after the wedding.

Without revealing his wife’s name, Deepak Hooda shared some beautiful pictures from his private wedding ceremony, which was attended by family and close friends. His post read, “After nine years of waiting, every moment, every dream and every conversation led us to this beautiful day. Excuse us while we hold each other a little longer, knitting stories that only our hearts can hear, and if we seem a little lost, because we have finally found each other. Welcome home, my little Himachali girl (15.07.2024)”

Deepak further wrote, “Surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, and showered with their blessings, we began our eternal life. Our hearts are full, thanks to all of you.”

The news of Deepak’s marriage came as a surprise to his fans and followers, who were eagerly waiting to know more details about his life partner. However, not much is known about her except her Himachali origin. Meanwhile, Deepak hails from Haryana and so the newlyweds have an intercultural marriage.

Soon after Deepak Hooda, 29, shared the news of his marriage, his friends and fans started congratulating him on social media. Cricketer Umran Malik wrote, “Congrats bro”, while LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka said, “Lots of good wishes to you both”.

For the unversed, Deepak Hooda was born on 19 April 1995 in Rohtak, Haryana. His father, Jagbir Hooda, was a Warrant Officer in the Indian Air Force. Deepak started playing cricket at a young age; at the age of 14, he was playing for the Kendriya Vidyalaya U-17 cricket team. He is known for his all-rounder and batting prowess. He made his IPL debut in 2015 playing for Rajasthan Royals. In IPL 2016, he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad, in 2020 IPL he was bought by Kings XI Punjab and in IPL 2022 he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants.

I wish the newlyweds many more years of happiness and togetherness.
