Roya News | 83 New Aid Trucks Cross Border from Jordan to Gaza

Eighty-three new trucks carrying humanitarian aid crossed the border into Gaza from Jordan, delivering food parcels, blankets, clothing and hygiene products distributed by local organisations and sector partners.

The aid convoy was organized by the Jordanian Armed Forces (Arab Army), the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), and was supported by Aid Hand and Human Appeal, along with several popular campaigns.

Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the JHCO, stated that Jordan’s extensive efforts to support Gaza are substantial, reflecting the trust and cooperation between Jordan and various local, regional and international organizations. This support underscores Jordan’s capacity to deliver humanitarian assistance to Gaza.

Al-Shibli noted that the total number of aid supplies that had entered Gaza through Saturday was 2,694, along with 53 aircraft via Arish.

The JHCO continues to receive funds through its bank account at Union Bank, number JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06, e-wallets of Click JHCOGAZA, as well as through eFAWATEERcom and its website www.jhco.org.jo.
