New live TV streaming service Venu Sports is launching next month. Here’s everything we know

Earlier this year, Walt Disney’s ESPN, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a new streaming bundle that will offer 16 live sports channels and zero non-sports channels. For sports fans, this might just be “the” dream service, allowing them to watch sports without paying for Disney Channel or MTV.

The service is launching next month, so let’s take a look at what we know about this new service.

DVR and multi-view streaming

Now, thanks to a leak discovered by Lowpass, we’ve learned a lot about the new streaming service, including that it will offer Multi-View, DVR, and more. You’ll also be able to disable current game scores or make them publicly available.

The leak occurred because the developers apparently made a copy of the app that Lowpass had discovered publicly available online.

As Lowpass’ Janko Roettgers says, this is an early beta app and things could change as the service gets closer to launching for this year’s fall sports. You can find screenshots of the app online HERE . Venu Sports has yet to share any official details about DVR and Multi-View support.
