Paris 2024 Olympic Games squads: Full list of athletes in Indian swimming team

Swimmers Srihari Nataraj and 14-year-old Dhinidhi Desinghu have been selected through the Universality Quota to represent India at the upcoming Paris Olympics, the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) announced.

The SFI had previously indicated that they were awaiting approval from World Aquatics for the selection.

Srihari qualified for the Tokyo Summer Olympics after FINA approved his ‘A’ qualifying time in the men’s 100m backstroke. For Dhinidhi, it was his first appearance at the Olympics.

No Indian swimmer achieved direct qualification, so SFI claimed the “university places” for both genders. Srihari will compete in the men’s 100m backstroke and Dhinidhi will compete in the women’s 200m freestyle.
