The film genre that is only suitable for parody

Despite the success of Walk the lineit was also a direct target of ridicule, most notably through the 2007 parody Run Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, which I consider one of the best films ever made. While To run is a parody of music biopics in general, but most directly mocking Walk the line And Ray, Ray Charles’ 2004 film. It was a direct response to the rise of the genre, poking fun at the fact that it had fallen into a predictable structure, with each film following the same predictable storylines about infidelity, addiction, and tumultuous relationships with fathers.
