Emma Bogacki, her father Nathan and brother Grant died at the scene. Her 10-year-old sister was injured in the crash and flown to a Pittsburgh hospital in critical condition.

In a Channel 11 News story, the Lawrence County coroner told the station that an SUV crossed the center line, went off the road, clipped a telephone pole and struck a parked car before flying through the air and hitting a tree.

Bogacki began her senior year at Lincoln Park Charter School in Midland. She was a dual sport athlete who played basketball for the Leopards and a standout softball pitcher for the Western Beaver Golden Beavers.
