Community Text Warning

The Community Text Alert Service is still ongoing and is open to anyone to join. Some of the messages sent by the group are alerts from the Gardaí, Met Eireann and others who help keep the community informed. If you would like to join the text service, please contact Kill Action Group on 086 3772945.

Seniors warning scheme

Kill Action Group is a registered provider for the Senior Alert Scheme which provides a personal monitored alarm for people aged 65 and over who live alone or with another person who meets the eligibility criteria and lives in the area. The alarm can be worn as a pendant or on the wrist like a watch and when pressed will send a call to a 24 hour monitoring centre.

The equipment is free, but there is a charge for monitoring the alarm. A landline, mobile phone or broadband connection is required to install and connect the equipment. For information/use of the scheme contact Marie Whelan on 087 2871307.
