Start time, schedule, how to watch and more

One of the signs that football season is getting closer is conference media days. The Big 12 and SEC were the first conferences to have media days, and now it’s the ACC and Big Ten’s turn this week.

Georgia Tech is one of the first schools you’ll hear from on Monday. Brent Key adds quarterback Haynes King, running back Jamal Haynes and defensive tackle Zeek Biggers, and we’ll hear from the Yellow Jackets ahead of a highly anticipated 2024 campaign.

Not only will Georgia Tech be speaking on Monday, but their Week Zero opponent, Florida State, will be speaking tomorrow as well. The two teams that will kick off the 2024 college football season are the teams we’ll hear from first on Monday afternoon. It will be interesting to see if one of the coaches or one of the players will be talking about the game.

The other team that will be talking on Monday is one of the newcomers to the ACC, SMU. The Mustangs could compete in the ACC right away and this is the first chance to hear from head coach Rhett Lashlee.

Here’s the schedule for the coming week in Charlotte:

Monday – Commissioner Jim Phillips, Florida State, Georgia Tech, SMU

Tuesday – Cal, Pitt, Stanford, Virginia, Virginia Tech

Wednesday – Boston College, Duke, Louisville, Miami and Wake Forest
