A popular local catering, takeaway and delivery restaurant, known for its Portuguese cuisine, is for sale.

Owner Caite Fontes announced on social media that she has decided to sell Two Sisters at 743 Dartmouth Street in Dartmouth.

“Over the past ten wonderful years, I have been extremely blessed with the opportunities this business has brought me. From serving hundreds of thousands of people, to being featured on Food Network and winning multiple awards, it has been an incredible journey. I have had the most amazing customers who have turned into incredible friends and like-minded business owners who I have had the honor of building relationships with within the restaurant community. I have been incredibly fortunate to have had incredible employees over the years who have helped make my dreams come true. I wouldn’t change a thing about the past decade.

“But family and health come first. I have to be there for them and myself. Mental health is a real concern and I am not ashamed to say that I have to take good care of it to be more successful in all aspects of my life.

“I can leave with grace and dignity, knowing that I have built a great company. I thank everyone who showed up and supported me through it all.

“We are open for business until it is sold. Hospitality and retail are open: Tuesday: 11-3, Wednesday: 11-3, Thursday: 11-3, Friday: 11-3 and Saturday: 11-3.”

Two Sisters Catering started with Fontes and her sister Courtney with a food truck and opened the Dartmouth Street location late last year.
