All northbound lanes of Highway 427 are blocked at Finch Avenue due to a fatal collision involving a pedestrian.

The collision took place on Sunday evening around 10 p.m.

The police are on the scene.

Toronto emergency workers told CTV News that one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Currently, the eastbound Finch on-ramp to northbound Highway 427 is also closed.

According to the OPP, the closure is expected to last several hours.
