Online services restored for Wizz Air and Ryanair | Stockwatch

Wizz Air’s online services are now available to the public, the company announced in a press release following Friday’s global technical outage, which was caused by a third-party provider.

The company says that while the cause of the disruption was beyond its control, customers whose flights were cancelled will automatically receive 120% of their money back in the form of Wizz Credit within 24 hours of their flight’s scheduled departure time.

If a customer wants to rebook their flight instead of requesting a refund, they can call customer service (toll-free) to arrange the rebooking.

Meanwhile, Ryanair said yesterday that online check-in is back and apologised “for any inconvenience caused by today’s global IT outage, which was completely beyond our control”.
