We hear that Vivo is also adjusting its prices in Pakistan. Several of their phones have seen a price hike. Their affordable Vivo Y18 (4/128GB) has seen a price hike and is now selling for Rs 38,500 instead of Rs 33,500. That’s almost Rs 5,000 extra to afford the phone.

They have also revised the pricing of the Y18 (6/128GB) variant. Earlier, it was selling for Rs 38,000. But now, there has been a hike of Rs 5,000. And it will officially cost Rs 43,000. That being said. We need to take a look at the phone’s specifications again to answer a burning question. Does it still hold value at the current price tags?

Y18 is a solid piece of equipment. That IPS LCD on top covers 6.56 inches over HD+ resolution. There is a tight seal on it to make it IP54 waterproof. You can see that there is a V-notch on the panel that slightly indents and a thick chin. Another thing it excels at is a 90Hz experience.

The chipset they used here is Helio G85. Nothing special. It is a 12nm platform which has a max frequency of 2.0GHz. We know that Funtouch OS 14 is light. So the engine can handle the software just fine. That interface is an extension of Android 14. So all the latest Google features are here on the new Vivo 4G mobile.

Those rear cameras have a 50MP (primary) and a 0.08MP AI lens, but the one you’ll be using for selfies up front is 8MP. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint here, and 15W standard charging. The Y18 has a 5,000mAh capacity, so it’ll easily get you through a full day of running.
