Vivo’s affordable phones aren’t the only victims of rising prices. Its premium V30 series is in the same murky waters. The Vivo V30e (8/256GB) gets a price revision, which was initially priced at Rs 90,000 but now costs Rs 96,000.

The same goes for the vanilla Vivo 30 (12/256GB). You can now find it in the market for Rs 136,000. Earlier, it cost Rs 130,000. Both get a price hike of Rs 6,000. Keep scrolling to see a brief description of their specifications.

Vivo V30 is one of the premium ones. Curved glass is a charming look for it. There’s an AMOLED 6.78” panel on the front. It refreshes at 120Hz and pushes out over 1.5k pixels at almost WQHDA+ resolution. And it can’t beat 2800 nits peak HDR10+ brightness.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is pulling the load here. And it uses up to 12GB of RAM to do so. That gives this phone a serious boost in performance. And the next best thing is a 5,000mAh battery. It does 80W, near-instant charging (100% in 48 minutes).

We have a flash and an Aura light on the back. The cameras that are dedicated to the Vivo V30 are 50MP (first) + 50MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (assist). They also have a 50MP camera on the front for selfies. It also keeps things light and slim at 186g and 7.5mm. An in-display optical fingerprint sensor is here for privacy.

Vivo V30e relies on a slower 44W charging to keep a 5500mAh battery topped up. The cameras dedicated to this one are 50MP (main) + 8MP (wide). And on the front, we see a 32MP selfie shooter housed in a punch hole. It has a better IP rating than the original, if that’s something you’re into.

There is an AMOLED panel here for sure. But there is no HDR10. 1300nits is the maximum brightness it can reach. Then we have a 1080p FHD+ resolution here and Schott Xensation glass protecting the AMOLED from scuffs and smudges. And let’s not forget the 120Hz refresh rate they offer here.

It’s a huge dip in performance when you go from 7 Gen 3 to Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Vivo V30e has the latter and is clocked at just 2.2GHz. There’s just 8GB of RAM here, but that’ll do the trick. The software that accompanies both phones is their Funtouch 14 x Android 14.
