Ryan Reynolds Responds to Rumors That King Charles III Will Star Deadpool and Wolverine

I think I’ve heard just about every possible rumor about who will come in Deadpool and Wolverine.

Whether it’s Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Henry Cavill or Kurt Cobain, everyone under the sun seems to be starring in the new film.

These rumors are on top of the rumors we already know about.

Rob McElhenney, Dafne Keen, Jennifer Garner, Wunmi Mosaku, the list is endless.

This is before we get to the killers row of former X-Men Several villains have already been confirmed to appear in the film: Tyler Mane’s Sabretooth, Aaron Stanford’s Pyro, and Dania Ramirez’s Callisto are all returning.

Maybe I’m in it and Ryan Reynolds hasn’t told me yet? Maybe you have?

Director Shawn Levy even went candid about the number of cameos in the film, telling Entertainment Weekly, “We didn’t want the cameos or the characters to define the story of the movie, but they’re all over the place.”

“There are a lot of characters. The internet is a riot of rumors about the multitude of character cameos in this film. Some of the rumors are true, some are completely false.”

Whatever rumors we’ve heard, you can imagine Shawn Levy and co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have heard stranger things.

During a recent press conference ahead of the release of Deadpool and WolverineLevy and the cast were asked about the wildest rumor they’d ever heard.

The cast thought about it and then came up with an answer that, honestly, I would have been less likely to predict than Cobain.

Ryan Reynolds replied: “I heard King Charles was in the movie.”

He continued: “We had a whole conversation based on that very strange rumor and will neither confirm nor deny whether we did anything about it.”

However, Jackman stated that he had heard a rumor that there would be a full song and dance number for Wolverine, before joking that it would involve nudity.

However, this one came closer to the truth than Jackman may have realized.

Reynolds responded by saying, “In an earlier pitch for the film, there was a dance number set to Elton John’s ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues’“.

If you ask me, anything that gets Jackman singing and dancing is worth it.

That said, when we talk about King Charles, it’s no surprise that it looks unlikely that he’ll make an appearance… they couldn’t… could they…?

No, they certainly couldn’t.
