The two were married on January 16, 1977, and the couple have two sons, Adam and Ronald Jr. Biles previously told People.com that Nellie played a major role in planning her and Owens’ wedding.

Ron is very close to Biles. Like Nellie, he was instrumental in helping Biles pursue her career in gymnastics. He, along with Nellie, owns the training facility, World Champions Center, where the star gymnast trained many days in Spring, Texas. They opened the facility in 2014.
