Extra Supermarket Rewa has progressed to the semi-finals of the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants tournament, while Dayal’s Sawmillers Ba are out after being beaten 5-0 by the Delta Tigers at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Rewa led 4-0 at half-time after Solomon Islands natives John Orobulu and Samu Kautoga each scored two goals.

Epeli Valevou scored the other goal.

Rewa coach Rodrick Singh says the boys have played well and there is no reason to change the line-up as they have been performing consistently.

Meanwhile, Flick Hygiene Suva and Flick Hygiene Lautoka have also advanced to the semi-finals.

The final semi-finalist will be determined after the Extra Supermarket Labasa – Smart & Efficient Security Services/Calgary Nadi competition which is currently underway.

To qualify, Nadi needs a draw and the reigning champion must win the match.
