It is found in high altitude areas. It is an evergreen tree. Whose flowers and leaves are very special. Him Champa tree can be seen on the banks of the lake near Mallital rickshaw stand in Nainital. The height of this tree is 25 to 30 feet. Whose leaves are long. White Champa flowers look very beautiful. Also, there is a special kind of fragrance from the flowers. Which also makes the air fragrant and purifies it. This plant is native to USA. Also, this plant was planted in Britain in 1728. Telling that in India this plant is found in Western Ghats apart from high altitude areas. Also, cold climate is favorable for this plant.

Him Champa is beneficial in many ways
Professor Tiwari says that Him Champa is very fragrant and also good for health in many ways. There are many types of chemicals in Him Champa. These include phenol, phenols, methyloxybiphenyl. Champa oil is also available in the market. Massaging the head with it relieves headache. Smelling the fragrance of Him Champa flower also provides relief from headache. Drying the leaves of the flowers and making powder and drinking it with water also provides relief from urinary disorders. Also smelling this flower alone provides relief from stress. This flower contains volatile oil which is also very good for the eyes.
