Iran warns of ‘consequences’ of Israeli strikes on Lebanon after Golan attack – World

TEHRAN: Iran warned Israel on Sunday that any new military “adventures” in Lebanon could lead to “unforeseen consequences”, following a deadly missile attack on the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights, blamed on Tehran-backed Hezbollah.

“Any ignorant action by the Zionist regime could lead to a widening of the scale of instability, insecurity and war in the region,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said, adding that Israel would be responsible for “the unforeseen consequences and reactions to such stupid behavior.”
