The first glimpse of Mechanic Rocky starring Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen and produced by Ram Talluri under SRT Entertainments has been released. Directed by debutant Ravi Teja Mullapudi, the film promises a mix of mass action and comedy.

Titled First Gear, the teaser introduces the lead characters and hints at a love triangle between Vishwak Sen, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Shraddha Srinath, along with some action and drama.

Vishwak Sen looks fresh and wants to appeal to the masses with his performance. His energy is impressive as usual. His chemistry with Meenakshi and Shraddha seems nice.

Vishwak Sen’s dialogue, “Chhote Chhote Bachchon Ko Pooron Ko Main Jawaab Detu”, accompanied by Jakes Bejoy’s background score, adds a massive touch to the teaser.

Meenakshi Chaudhary looks cool in ethnic wear, while Shraddha Srinath essays a modern, urban role.

The end of the teaser, featuring an L Board sequence, ends on a decent note, though it is not exactly humorous. Supporting characters played by Sunil, Naresh and Roadies Raghu Ram also make brief appearances.

Ravi Teja Mullapudi has chosen a subject that has a mix of romance, action and commercial elements. Manojh Katasani’s cinematography is decent and Jakes Bejoy’s background score adds a funky touch.

The production design and technical aspects are well packaged, making the teaser look polished. The overall impression is that the teaser is decent, but somewhat routine, and lacks that special atmosphere.

As a teaser, First Gear is passable, but the trailer will be crucial to building suspense and getting the audience into the cinema. The bar needs to be raised considerably. Let’s hope Vishwak Sen finds the big success he’s looking for with Mechanic Rocky.
