CANONS CUPPA: Park cafe at Stanmore reopens after year-long closure for repairs

Residents who enjoy a cup of tea while strolling through the local park will be pleased to hear that the cafe in Canons Park has now reopened.

After the café closed for a year due to repair issues and the departure of the previous café manager, the Friends of Canons Park have entered into a partnership with Liam’s Coffee House on Station Road in Edgware to create this new facility for residents.

The new café, Liam’s in the Park, opened on Wednesday 12 June and will be serving soft drinks, smoothies and ice cream seven days a week.

The café is housed in the 18th century bothy building and is signposted in the park as the Good Friends Café.

Manager Bardhi Blloshimi said: “Our team has worked tirelessly to create a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can come together to relax, socialise and enjoy delicious food and drinks. We can’t wait to see the park come alive with the laughter and banter of our guests, and we’re excited to be part of the vibrant Canons Park community!”
