Search for missing boy at Cliffs of Moher continues

The search for the boy began after the alarm was raised around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Rescue Coordination Centre in Valentia coordinates searches led by Coast Guard volunteers, using Civil Defence drones and the Shannon-based Coast Guard helicopter ‘Rescue 115’.

The search area around the Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay and the Aran Islands will be further expanded in the coming days with volunteer units from Doolin, Cleggan, Inisheer, Costelloe Bay and Killaloe.
