MIRI, July 28: A pedestrian was tragically killed in a suspected hit-and-run collision on Saturday night (July 27) on Jalan Tudan, near Emart Tudan.

The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m., when the victim was hit by a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle.

A passer-by who saw the accident immediately called the police and an ambulance.

After the emergency call, a mobile police vehicle immediately arrived on the scene.

However, authorities have not yet released any details about the victim.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with their investigation. — DayakDaily
