TPSO Investigates Murder of Mississippi Man Found Dead Near Kentwood | Crime

KENTWOOD — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s help investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday morning in the Kentwood area.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., a call was made for a medical emergency on the road to Brab Alford Lane near State Line Road in the Kentwood area. The caller reported seeing a man slumped in a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road surrounded by glass. Emergency responders arrived to find a man shot dead inside the vehicle.

The victim has been identified as Edward Robertson, 43, of Magnolia, MS.

Detectives from TPSO Criminal Investigations are actively working on this investigation, but would appreciate the public’s assistance, especially in identifying any possible motives or suspects.
