Robert Downey Jr. is returning to Marvel to play Doctor Doom in the next two Avengers films.

The actor, who previously played Iron Man in the MCU, will play the villain in both “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars.”

Downey showed up in costume and mask at San Diego Comic Con to make the big announcement.

Meanwhile, Joe and Anthony Russo have been confirmed as directors of both films.

And while the four main Fantastic Four will headline their own film, titled Fantastic Four: First Stepsthe heroes will also be seen in the two Avengers films.
