(Fall River, MA) – The annual Back-to-School Block Party is coming to Fall River again.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 10th in Kennedy Park, from 12pm until approximately 4pm (end time subject to availability).

Fall River Public School staff will be on hand to support students and their caregivers as they prepare for the 2024-2025 school year.

Now in its fourth year, this free community event began in the summer of 2020 to cheer on participants in the Fall River Basketball Association Championships and has since grown into a full-fledged community event that draws nearly 2,000 people.

This year’s neighborhood party consists of:

· Free school supplies (while supplies last)

· Food trucks – Pizza Hut, Supa Dupa, Cool Licks Ice Cream, County Fare Hot Dogs (food for sale)

· Games
