We are looking for a NYC Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic, growing team in New York!

The candidate who would be most successful in this role would participate in our collective team effort while contributing independently. They would have a positive attitude, established A&D client relationships, and a friendly disposition. They would be self-motivated, focused, a team player, possess problem-solving skills, multitasking skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine thirst for driving sales.

* Responsible for all outside sales in NYC with a mix of residential and hospitality clients, with an emphasis on hospitality clients

* Organize lunches, educational meetings and product presentations at client offices

* Be a brand ambassador and trusted resource for customers across all Houles product categories

* Manage/maintain active client

* Responsible for all aspects of the sales process; selling, collecting memos, order entry, follow-up, processing and tracking

* Attend industry events

* 2-3 years of experience in a field service role for the A&D trading industry

* Established A&D customer relationships are required

* Sales in the catering industry is an advantage

* Experience and/or knowledge of interior design. Knowledge of finishing, curtain hardware and/or fabric is a plus

* Strong customer service skills

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Ability to work as part of a small team

* Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook), required

* Follow-up, organizational, planning and documentation skills

* Strong work ethic, ambition and drive

* Basic salary + monthly commission
