Two people were brought to shore during a boat rescue in De Pere.

According to a press release from the De Pere fire department, emergency services received a report of a boat that had gone over the dam on Sunday afternoon around 5 p.m.

Emergency services arrived on the scene and saw a small inflatable boat lying at the fishing pier with two people on board.

Using a rope, people on the shore pulled the boaters to safety.

The people on the boat were examined and freed on site by rescue workers.
