Feasibility study for MBS expansion in the first week of August

Rawalpindi: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engineer Aamir Khattak, has directed the authorities concerned to complete a fresh feasibility study of the Metro Bus Service (MBS) by the first week of August.

The Commissioner said that Metro Bus Service provided world class travel facilities to the citizens. According to a spokesperson of the Commissioner’s office, the Commissioner while chairing a high level meeting.

Representatives of NESPAK informed the Commissioner about the new feasibility study of the metrobus service. The new feasibility study of the metrobus service in relation to the growing population is being prepared.

Work is underway to increase the number of buses from 100 to 150. Consideration is being given to increasing the number of metrobus service routes from 6 to 10, the meeting was informed. The Commissioner instructed NESPAK representatives to complete a new feasibility study of the metrobus service in the first week of August.
