LIG Nex1 acquires controlling stake in Ghost Robotics

PHILADELPHIA And Seoul, South Korea, July 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Ghost Robotics, a leading innovator in robotic legs, and LIG Nex1, a leading South Korean defense technology company, are pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership through the acquisition of Ghost Robotics by LIG Nex1. LIG Nex1 has acquired a 60% controlling interest in Ghost Robotics for $240 million USDwhere the value of the company is estimated at $400 million USD.

This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies as they combine their expertise and resources to advance the field of autonomous robotic solutions. The acquisition enables Ghost Robotics to leverage LIG Nex1’s extensive experience and capabilities in defense technology and manufacturing to further accelerate its scale-up.
