Max is a new resident of Fort St. John, having come from Burlington, Ontario, to work as a citizen reporter for Energeticcity.

He became interested in journalism after taking a media fundamentals course at Sheridan College, which led him to develop a passion for writing and seeking the truth.

A quote that Max lives by is, “Don’t be afraid of death, don’t be afraid of living.”

Since he was 13, he has been an enthusiastic volunteer visiting countries such as Ghana, Argentina, Vietnam and more.

Max enjoys critically acclaimed films and TV series, as well as books, chess, poker, hiking and kayaking.

He draws inspiration from writers such as Ernest Hemingway, CS Lewis, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Hunter S. Thompson, Douglas Murray and Malcolm Gladwell.
